It’s been four weeks since George Floyd was killed by a police officer who kneeled on his neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds.
A year after this death, we have to ask ourselves if the light is now out, I think not.
We must not forget the deaths of racism, even if they continue to be there …
We must not forget the dead migrants drowned in the Mediterranean even if they continue to be there …
We don’t have to get used to the tragedy of our mistakes.
We need to know that we cannot absolve ourselves, but at least we don’t put out the light.
