This tutorial goes through the process of using Tomcat to turn your computer into a server. This is handy for testing things out without needing to update (or pay for) a live server.
If anyone else too is having trouble running the startup.bat file because of some issue related to JAVA_HOME or JRE_HOME NOT FOUND, then you will have to manually set those.
I followed docs.oracle.com guide for this. Just ignore the GoldenGate Director Server thingy.
