This is my entry for Ludum Dare 45. The theme was start with nothing. In this game, you start with black (#000000), and you make choices to change your color to white (#FFFFFF). Every choice has tradeoffs though, so choose carefully!

The goal of the first was to maximize net increment. Usually, one of 3 colors became dominant and took longer time to win than the second try. The goal of the second was to be more balanced among 3 colors and took shorter time even though I didn’t expect it.
Attaching the results in which the first have more steps but look more lucid. How interesting!!
I’m not sure what the “optimal” strategy is for winning in as few turns as possible, but it’s really interesting to see how different people think about it!
